Soil Sampling Analyzes Your Lawn's Health for Accurate Treatment Plans
Tall fescue turf prefers a pH of 6.2-7.0. Much of the soil in the greater Fredericksburg Region has an acidic pH that needs to be amended with lime. The amount of lime needed is determined by a soil sample from various spots on your lawn. The pH is important as it dictates the amount of nutrients that are available to the plant. Soil that is either too acidic or basic will prevent the nutrients from being utilized by the turfgrass.
